about

This large collection of solo flute songs was performed on a total of 32 different Native American-style flutes. Nearly half of the songs herein are based on improvisations posted on my YouTube channel and represent either direct re-creations or further developments of those.

With immense expressive possibilities wrapped in soulful voices, Native American-style flutes have become like a little wooden bridge between the feverish desire for musical expression and the sounds you can experience here. That they can do this so completely and so beautifully without additional accompaniment is the essence of elegant simplicity, indeed!

Allen Bruce Ray Chuncheon Si, South Korea

Bruce has been serenading enraptured audiences of birds, trees, & insects and bouncing sounds around the mountains and inner walls of various concrete tunnels, mostly in South Korea, ever since the Native American flute first beckoned him in 2007. Oh yes, and he also plays to fellow human beings all around the world via YouTube. ... more
